Gosh.. first time i travel n shop non stop.. my col really a shopping queen.. she can shop till forgotten she actually bought the same pants twice.. n no need to eat ,.. her whole mind is just shop shop shop buy buy buy.. fainted.. the energy really something i salute..

with such a short stay.. we sacrifice our sleeping time.. shop n buy.. only sleep less than 10 hours since friday night..phewww..

My tAsk Completed

Wat a tiring weekend.. mind full of the power upgrade.. thinking of what will be the blocking points.. network (?).. n yes.. at the end.. the recording system (network) still the last one to be back to normal function..

anyway.. our this power upgrade exercise was a success. all completed around 1pm.. then we went for a sumptious lunch, courtesy from vendor.. haaaa..
However, network recording system was faulty.. n need replacement.. so ended up they stay till about 7:30pm.. i went home liao.. but have to keep chasing for status n update boss .. pheww.. lucky can claim handphone.. else rugi..

anyway.. happy cos my assigned project completed.

Been feeling like goin to fall sick since sat.. now also have slight headache.. i keep drinking water.. grind fruit juice and eat tonnes of fruits.. to stay healthy.. go so many times of toilets.. sometimes i wonder if my kidney got problem why i need to go toilet so often when i drink extra water..

Well Done to myself.. BUT tmw i still have lots of reporting to do for today events.. so being a project manager is really a tiring task.. phewwww...

Ohh.. we bought 4D for today's event.. i bought 1311, boss bought 1313.. n guess wat came out 1315.. fainted.. $1 wasted..

Adopting a Child

A fren was telling me he is going to "adopt" a child from third world country..

my fren is in the process of choosing his "kid" hee..

I dunno.. i find it hard to do this for a long term.. cos if i want i would rather just donate one time to any of the charity organisation than to do this as a long term commitment..

But..i can imagine how proud u r.. if one day the child u sponsored become someone useful and contribute to the society .. cos he/she gain help from me and that she is given the chance to study and then help others in her country to enjoy the same benefit as herself/himself..

but still being selfish or whatever reason.. i think im not ready for such commitment.. wish him luck though...and hopefully the child he sponsor will have a better life..

This week quite busy.. cos weekend will be the power redundancy upgrade. very nervous.. cos we dun think this is a big project that's why my boss let me handle this.. cos being new n given this responsibility .. really an honoured..

but some team just cant wait to see u fail.. n keep creating funny n unbelievable n unnecessary worries.. make us also worry if this will fail..

anyway.. with all the precaution taken.. those we can think of..hopefully nothing is blocking the exercise..finger crossing..

Appraisal leh.. mm.. im so overwhelm by how my boss look high on me.. so touched.. TRUST he has on me.. and of course trust i have on him to give me opportunities and groom me and expose me to different work experiences as well as life experiences..

He did it the other way.. he started by asking me to 'appraise' him first.. say what i think of him as my boss for the past 8 months..

well.. i can only say good one right ? he keep saying i can say good n bad..
anyway.. i anyhow hack lah.. one bad point i can say is he overstress and we felt his stress n that made us uncomfortable.. heee..

Sat.. walking along takashimaya.. this lady approached us.. said dunno wat time share travel stuff.. so we just need to scratch the coupon n see what we won.. well.. nothing to lose.. so i scratched n i won $30 Tang voucher.. so she needed another customer.. so she asked JL to scratch too.. n he won air ticket.. woah.. the FIRST prize... woah.... so cool...

But then she said.. we need to go to their demo/briefing for at least 80 mins..mm.. since get air tickets.. why not hor.. heee.. so he went first.. then i followed.. the lady said do not reveal we r couple.. else they wont let us win the prize..

so stupidly.. we followed her to the location of the demo..fill up one registeration form..then attended by this short male agent.. spent almost 1/2 hours talked nonsence.. i saw JL.. but pretend din see.. cos we r declared as 'single'.. n the agent started off by asking very general q.. where i work.. do i like to travel.. what i do other than work.. blah.. just to make myself comfortable with him.. n i have to rush him to go direct to the things he is going to intro me..

well.. ok.. after abt 1/2 hour.. he started.. ask where i plan to go in the next 5 years.. how much i estimate to spend.. how many people will i b bringing.. blah...n intro the ever so wonderful program they have.. can save so much..after abt 1 hour.. i started to feel so sian.. but still showed as if im so interested.. so fake.. ghaaa

then brought me to see their office .. see their ISO cert.. blahhh.. n at the end their manager or who ( british if not mistaken.. from his accent ) trying to persuade me into buying this so-called the best/worthwhile travelling package ever.. woah lau. $20 over k n aks me pay installment.. anyway.. we just here for the gift.. not into buying anything..

so left after abt 2 hours plus.. wasting our life in here.. JL said they were using lots of those business marketing strategy.. like get u comfortble.. choose only singles..slowly setting trap for u to fall .. if u r not determined or soft-hearted will fall for it liao..

We met after the sessions.. and collected our tang vouchers..


But.. where is Jl's air ticket ?? kena bluff liao.. :((

Yesterday bang on my desk ..n got a greenish patch on my thigh.. rub it.. this morning.. it turned so black.. n pain..n ugly looking.. gotta rub more to let clog blood flow



today boss paid me the trip money.. woah.. first time i hold a $1000 SGD.. cool.. so mountain turtle..heee..



Gosh.. the baht rate only about 1SGD to 22 baht.. not so high.. anyway.. shall shop a lot there.. expected.. now headache how much money to change..MUST control myself.. cannot over spent..

i called her yesterday morning.. told her i want a review on my insurance policies.. how much money i've made from my investment n stuff.. n im interested to know more of the pru card.. well.. she does not sound enthusiast.. but she said she is free anytime this week.. so i made an appointment with her today (Monday evening, 8pm, kfc opp my house).. she suggested bugis.. cos near her office and she can bring the required documents for me.. but.. hey.. im the customer. n i insist at redhill.. so she said ok..

evening, she sms.. said she has to chg date.. cos she forgotten she has an appointment with another customer.. BULLSHIT.. i sms back.. told her.. "it is ok, i'll get the info from other prudential adviser".. cos i dun think it is so big deal.. i dun have to meet her ONLY to find out what i want.. i know many people.. not only her ..

she replied back.. said "Please dun. dun b angry.. it's not that i dun want to meet u.. maybe i meet u at ur office during ur lunch time ?"

i replied her " it is ok, i will get the info myself"
she then replied " i have delayed my appointment, so i can meet u tmw as scheduled, sorry. but usually i prefer to have appointment made 1 week before"

i replied " it is ok, im not meeting u. nite"
she replied " sorry if u r unhappy. i have delayed my appt to meet u, i dunno wat to do le"

i din reply her anymore..

i think her customer service + follow up sucks.. cos being friendly with her does not mean im not demanding.. i can change my agent anytime.. just a phone call away..

so i just want to let her know.. im ur customer.. u should give me priority..not promise n then give excuses..

btw.. im not angry.. cos i think nowadays.. no one is depending on anyone.. if u cant give me what i want.. i can always get it else where.. just need to spend some time.. that's all...

Today been busy.. why sunday still busy ? cos need to prepare statistics lorrr.. stupid japan so many new monitoring for us..boss wanna gather all the info so that we can conference with them so ensure takeover can be properly taken by our side.. n guess wat.. yeah.. again.. boss said.. a trip to japan is inevitable.. mm.. make me think of disney land already..

today lunch with irene.. she resigned from our x-company.. jobless for the time being but she said she just gotten a job offer.. she went for facial and the beutician persuade her to buy products n she said she jobless no money.. n they just happen to be looking for an accountant.. so they take her. woah.. u can get a job anywhere.. so it is true that now job market is booming ?!?

still the same irene..meet her..n her usual. "bo chap" style..the forever 1 q she will ask me whenever we meet.. when u getting married ?.. then she asked me.. u sure he is the one ? the last one ? cos she thinks he is not the type she will eye.. cos he is too "stable" & "down-to-earth".. well i told her.. all woman has their own needs n requirements.. she may be looking for happening bf.. cos she enjoys going disco..pub..dancing..so i think she should lor..no one is stopping her from finding a bf of her style or of her liking...just dun like the way she talk.. as if hey..u surely choose the wrong type of man..

well.. i guess no one is perfect in making choices in their life.. so just make sure u dun regret what u have chose and love n enjoy ur life with the choices u've made..

after trying out steak and grill fish from other restaurant.. this is still where we love to lunch for steak..

boss n jeff will definitely choose the sirloin or t bone beef steak.. their favourites.. as me the no-beef menu.. i always go for salmon or dory fish.. very very satisfying.. cant resist the temptation of the steak n grill fish here..darn gooddd..

lalallalla.. im goin bangkok lallaa.. so long never been there.. the last time to thailand was 2 years back to hatyai..and about 3 to 4 years back to bangkok + pattaya ..

This time round.. 12 of us ( boss, Jeff, Tom, Jen, and boss family & Jeff wifey ).. my siao boss at first said go bali.. but my mum dun allow lor.. cos dangerous mah.. people just finish bombing... so we decided to go bangkok.. shopping.. thai massage..ah gua..

it would be fun since we have many people.. n tom, jen n boss around.. those r playful people.. so will have lots of laughters n fun..

so looking fwd to it now..anyway.. must be finishing our power upgrade .. then the week after go bangkok.. then come back.. we will have our bbq leh.. woah.. full of activities.. cool cool..

today like every other sat.. went out with JL..we went to coffee club to have our lunch.. our mud piess lunch... Muddy Mudpie + Tiramisu mudpie + black forest cake..
crazy right ? haaa.. we have the $20 voucher so spent it on mudpies.. so sweet.. out of the three.. our favourite is still the Muddy Mudpie.. Yummm.. how it melts into your mouth..

then.. JL bought his Mizuno sports shoes at Worl of sports.. 50% off..actually im not in the mood to shop.. cos sleepy.. yesterday sleep late almost 1am....drink coffee in the morning still sleepy...

went to libray to borrow the wine book..after the wine appreciation.. now lots of term in the book i understand.. so cool..



then we walked pass Samuel & kevin..saw the three quater pants.. wanted to buy but think of the many shoes i bought made me hesitate.. JL said buy for me.. so at the end i bought it.. heeee.. nice to wear..choose L cos will be cosier when it's not too fitting..

Hwee Li and i will go travel either end of this year or beginning of next year.. now we still haven decided whetwher South Africa or Nepal.. mmm...JL said he will join us too.. so maybe i will grab Kenny along.. so that 2 F 2M easier..

Today we attended the shield plans by Aviva.. we are informed of different types of shield plans in the market.. and comparison of the plans from each insurance company..seems like aviva gives the most coverage.. but the annually charges also the highest..

i guess with AIA medishield.. im all right ? lazy to swicth lah.. if married couple bought.. aviva can cover for their children below 7 for free.. then this is worth it..

looking through the prudential website, seems like they have the prucard.. if pay premium using this card will get cash back.. wanna ask my adviser for some opinions..will meet her next next week.. since next week is holiday..

Once again we had our wine appreciation sponsored by our vendor.. at Just Wine at Pahang Street.. cool place... a right place to chill out..

This time no more karaok .. but we had our wine appreciation lesson conducted by the restaurant itself.. learning the different type of wine.. how to tats wine.. how to hold the glass.. how to shake it .. how to smell.. the SSt(Sight, Smell & Taste).. how to know if wine we drink is bad.. new world & old world wine ( wine generation..) vintage year ( year when the grapes are harvested ) how to differentiate young wine & old wine..

Red wine best to have within 6-8 years.. white wine within 3years.. so to buy wine.. must remember this.. dun buy old wine.. and young wine should let it breath fr 3 hours before consuming .. it will taste the best..

so much knowledge.. interesting .. tonight we din have lot.. we have our games.. n we got spa voucher.. spa with wine.. haaa.. cool huh..

today chating with gis & Bk.. Bk been so excited over her new job awaiting for her in Nov.. currently in the process of setting the compensation since she left earlier than the 3 months notice period..

my batch n her batch all left the company.. haa.. time to move on.. but still have some people willingly staying and FIGHt for better salary.. dun understand..anyway not for us to care lah.. we have better thing to do..

Gis ask for my new address.. and she said she is going to kill me when she read abt the blog that i touched on Ken & her.. she firmly denied that she has soft spot for him.. hee.. k k.. i told her i shall amend my view on this.. haaaa..

BK's bb coming to s'pore with her mom in law next month.. we three gals decided to meet and catch up with one another..so long never see them.. but we always in touch with one another esp BK cos she contacts me for advice on her resignation..


I've been so gian to go for a trip.. sw Boon online.. he said he interested to go South Africa.. Hwee Li interested too.. haaa.. well.. if i dun get to go Europe.. i may just hop on to South Africa to see animals..

Mad People...

boss told me he happend to watch this 30 mins show abt some guys doing some funny n weird stuff.. things like let elephant urinate on their head..us scorpion to bite their backside..and so on..

curious.. so i waited till 1030 yesterday to watch.. wah lao.. really bunch of mad people.. yesterday they were in bangkok .. n they show elephant's penis.. n use the penis to beat their face.. so disgusting.. then let the elephant paint on them using colour brush..

The next thing they did is to use the coconut crabs ( crab that crack coconut ) found on sea side.. n strip down to just underwear n let the crab bite them on his backside..OH MY GOD.. aren't these guys out of their mind ?? n then they showed how the crab left the wound on his backside.. super crazy..

But then quite fun to watch such show cos u never know wat people out there is doing or adventuring while we are leading out NORMAL life..

Today wanna buy the curler.. but din sell in suntec watson.. Grrrrrr... tmw go tampines watson buy..

Headache........

so long never get one-sided headache.. today kena again.. since morning..dunno why.. is it b'cos i've been blowing my hair recently ? cos after washing hair i try to dry it else wet hair make my shoulder aching ( dunno if this is the reason, to play safe.. i dry my hair )

I used to wash my hair in the morning.. cos after a night of sleep on pillow.. long hair usually will retain some smell.. u know.. ur teddy bear or "pang pang" smell on ur body n hair.. so i will definitely bath n wash my hair in the morning before i go out to work..

But then.. after washing hair.. never dry up properly.. cos morning no time to wait till it dry.. so in the train cold.. maybe that's why my shoulder pain.. like "feng se".. my mum reminded this.. so after i blow dry my hair .. now i dun get shoulder aching anymore..

long hair also troublesome.. tsk tsk.. thking of cut short...but then wat style leh.. long hair like easier.. no need much maintenance.. just leave it.. n save money.. no need cut so often.. haaa.. but when come to dye hair.. pheww.. extra charges cos based on length..

Today lunch with jen.. we went to see rings n ear rings.. she is getting married next year May .. she needs a pair of ear rings to go with her other jewelleries..one pair of diamond ear rings about $800 + to $1k.. while she looking for hers..i tested some diamond rings..cool..make me feel like wanna get married also.. haaaa


From the few i've tried..i preferred this type of diamond ring..



I dun really like those with only one whole diamond in the middle..cos everybody is wearing that type.. so boring..this one looks more casual..


The sale person said this is only 0.5+ carats.. if 1 carat will b much bigger n heavier.. the actualy 1 carat wil cost abt 13k.. woah.. so x...

Jen said her rings already got scratches.. they bought it during her ROM .. n she said rough surface not good ..scratchable..mm.. dunno also.. but i find this pair sweet..

mm..today boss on course.. so quite happy actually.. with Tom & Jen around we have lots of fun together..we had our bird flu vaccination.. not painfull luckily..

Will b going for a excel VBA class.. so dig out my programming book.. found that my Java book borrowed by a fren was not returned to me for months..mm..some people is funny.. they borrow thing and they just forget they borrowed it.. just like some people borrow money and they "forget" all abt it either intentionally or unintentionally.. i ask from her when is aw her online.. first thing she said
" oh.. i forgot.. i din even use it actually.." can u feel what i feel ? pheww.. well.. then return to me ..

Recently.. i run a lot.. been trying to break my own record..usually i can run abt 2 - 3 km on treadmill..

Now.. i can easily run up to 4km for less than 30 minutes..( very long..) but im working twds the distance now.. shall work on the time slowly..

today.. i run until 4km.. then still not too tired.. so run extra 1 km make up to 5km.. in about 30 + minutes. < than 40 minutes.. this is considered fast for me...

wonder if i keep on pushing my limits.. i can go on to 6km..7km.. mm.. shall try.. the standard chartered marathon is 10km.. hopefully i can make up to the standard lah.. meanwhile.. exercise to keep healthy..

Tonight surely can sleep well.. cos exercise..body tired..but brain fresh..

French men.. all very huge in size.. our head if the smallest/shortest frnech man comparing to them.. maybe s'pore food not so heavy in consumption..

So they came .. walk walk see see. ask this n that.. then went to our data centres.. gladly they seem impressed with our data centres..after their visits.. our boss happy of the outcome n send the email to Jee n myself..

Anyway.. he also no time to plan for anything.. no trips ( canot go anywhere cos not married ).. no outing ( cos work tired, dun want to do anything too tiring..).. forever watch movie.. eat n walk aimlessly....This has been like this since we know each other.. he is ok with it as he thinks company that matters.. but i started to feel so unsure...Is this wat i want ? where will this lead us to ? we dun have plans...well... no time for that i guess....

I know i cant blame him for that.. cos it's the job commitment.. but still i think maybe it's good if we can both take some time off to think it over.. wat we want out of this relationships.. i dun want to forever to just have a saturday boyfriend.. cos other time .. most of the time.. im still on my own.. so wat's the point of being taken care of just one day of the week.. maybe im looking for someone who can take care of me full time ? better ?

not sure if im being complicated...maybe im looking for different directions in life ? not sure wat it is though.. just in a very confuse stage....n feel so lonely.. dunno why...just lonely...emotionally..

I guess.. this is sign im goin crazy liao.. yeah .. must be.. k k.. must take some time off to cool down a bit.. clear my head.. think too much..beating abt the bush..

Feel like taking some time for a short trip.. holidays.. maybe follow frens go Bali..see how bad things there.. when come back will appreciate things around me..

(4) after meeting abt 4pm, vendor brought us to coffeebean ( 1 tiramisu + 3/4 cheese cake + caramel apple ice coffee)

Wed -Eastwood
(1) Hong Kong Street chinese restaurant
(2) desert - apple shrudel + 2 durian puff + latte + 1 choclate coated cream puff

Thus -Bedok
(1) roast pork rice
(2) chui ge
(3) yong tau fu
(4) ice kacang + hai di ye

Friday- Tampines Safra Sakura Buffet
(1) eat till u drop
(2) 5pm vendor bought drinks

i exercise on wednesday..Body combat.. only awhile.. HL n i tired.. so we leave..today.. i jogged for nearly 4km.. perspires a lot.. tmw will go gym again.. sunday too.. just to burn away the fats i've input for the past 5 days..

Really work n enjoy food.. now i know few places for makaning good one

I dunno if anyone has the same experience as me..i HATE my brother in law..
really a torture to stay in the same roof with him..wat's more my sis always go back home to melak n left me home alone with this ass hole..

Why i dun like him
(1) Cos his eyes always on my chest level.. can u believe it ? he suppose to be like my brother but he is still RUDE enough to do this ..Am i too sensitive ? Im not sure.. but i caught him few times.. eyes on my chest.. ASSHOLE !! i told my sis n mum abt this..my sis warn him before n yet i still caught him doing that.. his habit ? But u dun do this to ur sis in law right ? i cant accept this !!

(2) cos he is a super lousy husband to my sis.. he never take care of her financially.. he never support my sis.. he only think of his own family.. send money home.. n yet.. his wife.. he doesn't think it is his responsibility to take care of.. luckily my sis is capable else i guess my sis will be really in deep shit..

(3) Cos he is such a lazy bump.. whenever he is not working.. he will be lying/sitting whole at the sofa.. n watch TV.. watch till midnight.. even he needs to work early but still he do that..so when he is at home.. i no chance to watch my favourite program.. so i will always stay in my room n online..i felt so "xing gu".. HATE this feeling..

(4) Cos he is using my sis.. my mum n i felt this way.. cos by staying with my sis.. he is always being taken care of.. he will have place to stay.. he will have car to drive.. he dun have to support her..

(5) Cos he never say "I Love You" to my sis before.. this show he did not appreciate or cherish my sis..

It's not that we look down on him.. but he just never show us we should respect him.. my sis is hesitated to split with him cos he is her first bf and now husband..sentimental u see.. if im in her shoes.. i'll long ago kick him away..

really a torture have to bear with such a jerk in my home...ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRgggg... my mum understands me.. but she also cant help much.. cos both her daughters.. she cant b asking my sis to kick the husband out..

dunno lah.. see how long i can tahan.. or i'll go crazy...

Hope the man in my life will cherish me.. love me.. take care of me.. protect me..

Today his birthday..second year we've been together for each other's b'day..but hor today he needs to report work as early as 7am.. cos school exam..so ke lian..

next time have children.. try not to give birth during exam period..else so ke lian.. cannot enjoy..

We never meet today cos he work till late and i also lazy to meet after work.. so tiring..so only wishing him happy birthday via SMS

Roast Chicken Recipe... fron AUnty Jackie

This is the roast chicken i used to like it so much when staying with my aunt during University days..

Roast chicken:
1 medium size chix about 1 1/2 kilos
1 heap teaspoon salt, pepper and 5 spice powder ( all mixed together)
1 teasp black soya sauce ( thick type)

Method:
After the chix is cleaned, leave to drip dry.
Rub black soya sauce all over chix, leave to drip dry again.
When almost dry, rub the mixed spices and leave for about 1 hr. If not enough time, 30 mins will do also. Put more spices in the inside of chix.
Heat oven at 200 C until the oven light goes off. This means oven is ready at the right temperature. Put chicken on a rack in a pan with the breast side facing up. ( if you don't have the special chix stand that I used) Roast for 20 mins. Then turn chix with the back facing up for another 20 mins. If chix is big, about 2 kilos, then roast for about 10 mins... total of 50 mins. To test if chix is cooked, pierce the chix between the body and the thigh with a skewer or a small sharp knife and if ready, a clear liquid will flow out; if bloody, then it's still not properly cooked. Cook for another 5 to 10 mins.

Bought nearly $400 of skin care product..cos want to mei mei.. haaa..
Then, tempted by col's recommendation.. bought birdnest.. always wanted to buy this type of birdnest.. but cos it's not cheap so always buy those in small can.. very little amount of birdnest.. mostly rock sugar..



The birdnest content very high.. one day one scoop.. cannot keep more than 14 days cos no preservative..



Dunno true or not if eat long term will be mei mei..

Siggh.. maybe cos approaching 30. i start to pay more attention on these products.. beauty... skincare..

woman.. we just have too much to spend/buy... why men never need to buy so much ? so unfair.. but why woman wanna spend on this ?? for who to see ?? man's fault !!
