We went to the yearly sakadita lunch, it's donated by LGG's aunt. we just help her fill up the table.

Won tickets to 3D cartoon !

I'm lucky again.. i wont 3 tickets to the 3D sneak preview Mars needs mum cartoon !

it was some free tickets offered by blogger mummy asking us to comment on parenthood.

We enjoyed the movie. So did missy. But she refused to wear the glasses until the end of the movie. she keep covering her ears and said i like movie but it's a little bit noisy..*she talks like adult*

The movie was really good in 3D effect and the animation was so real, just like avatar. the story line is not new though, mum being abducted and he tried to save her.. blahh... but we are watching the effect and also let missy experience the 3D (she had her 4D in Universal Studios last year, shrek)


missy cried (tears drip down her cheeks) when the mummy was being abducted by alien.. so emotional ! her chinese teacher just told me when i picked her up that misys always like to sit near her and hug hug her.. mm.. she ar ! maybe cos at home, we always do that and "i love you" is something that i said to her daily and she said to me daily too. im glad that this has stayed inside her.

by the way, didi was at home with gong gong & ah ma.

missy was very sleepy as it was way past her bedtime, the movie started @ 7:15 to abt 9pm.

Missy's outing

Been lazy to write in blog.. seems like facebook is easier.. cos photos say it all.. haa.. but i still think with words, it explain more and few years down the road i can still recall what happen and how much fun we had.. etc..

Last week we finally went to Marina Barrage , a place SAHM always bring their kiddos to. So we decided to pay a visit to this "wonderful" invention and new outing..

I guess all Singaporean will feel proud of Marina Barrage, tt's how i felt from my DH & his family..i just feel wow.. nice place for kiddo to run about and for odler kids to learn abt the invention of the reservoir and how they use so much technology to complete it. SImple great effort and amazing !

Lunch @ Cedele

Saturday (last day of February) we finally went to cedele for lunch , my later birthday meal.

I wanted to try cedele for so long. It's trans-fat free, organic and so healthy menu really attracted me. I like their bread and sandwiches.

Which on that day itself, i ordered sandwich and we had salad. im a sandwich/salad/spaghetti person.

yum yum ! but LGG said not filling for him, he had rosemary sauce chicken cutlet or something. I learnt this diet principle from someone in newspaper or somewhere.. "stop when you are not hungry and not when you are full" but easy to say than do, cos we usually over-eat,. as we eat till we are full :)

my little surely enjoy herself that day.. cutey cutey. she has her fair share too. salmon of course. she is salmon baby.. haa




Then, we went to borders since we are at wheelock place. just in time for theur story telling session by "Monster under the bed" really nothing so fantastic, just one lady sitting there to read the story with all expressions and loud voice. i can do it too. and missy apparently not interested, she prefer to roam about in the book store and like real, she just pick a book, lie on the floor and flip the book *faint* she looks cute in her baby gap dress, which very soon will out-grow it. so, i quickly let her wear before it's too late.. haaa

We then went to window shop at branded shops like LV & Gucci. * salivated * but i still think too much to spend on these.. just a handbag why spend so much ?? but deep down, i wish i have one too.. *vain woman*

Happy Belated Birthday !

First Beach trip

Sunday, we made our first trip to east coast park . Our first trip since missy was born. Been waning to expose sand to misys, well.. here's my chance.

Im a bit worried initially of how missy will react when i

let her touch the sand, as my friend said her boy somehow frighten of the sand on his feet. deep down, im rather confident missy will enjoy as after our JBCG's trip, she seems more daring than i thought ! *grinning* i prefer daring girl myself..

and, without much surprise, she blend in well with the environment, she play happily with sand, but, she refuse we bury her feet into the sand, keep pulling her feet out.. heee.. she is not happy with the sea water .. keep running away.. but after few times touchin gher feet with the waves, she is sooo eager to let the sea water flush her feet again.. the waves came so big and wet her pants all.. haaa..

We had great day watching missy enjoying herself with sand, sea water and also her walk on the sand.. she walks so much.. we tired already and she is not.. beh tahan..

Shall plan for our next trip soon..

Lapbooks making

Completed my missy's two lapbooks recently. One in Sept, one in Nov.. seems like her outings is getting more frequent now.. so more to go..

I've finally mounted up my personalised notice board pickup up from "My creative family" .. i have more ideas to come.. with photos to be combine and frame it up on soft board, which is cost savings and most impotant, it's light and easier to hang.. this have to wait till i finish consolidate all the photos..




The image taken is not so good..but the actual effect is not bad. im rather satisfied.

Botanic garden #1

Wanting to go to Jacob ballas children garden since..but always cant find the good day. Finally during the 1 day public holiday, we went down to botanic gardens with PIL.

I really think we should come more often as the greens and the natural scenary really good for children. We even saw 2 white swan, they are so huge size . We started from Tangling Core and walk and discover all the way to Bukit Timag core.

Bukit timah core is what im more interested as JBCG is there. this is really a children's paradise with so many games and science discoveries and exploration. We will definitelly make our second trip here pretty soon.

I finally saw the black swan in Eco lake.. Missy is happy to be push around in her tri cycles.. and her beautiful tricycles attracts many other kids's attention as they wanted to press the music and sit on it.. so cute.

Off day well-spent ! some more mum prepared her very delicious dish for lunch and dinenr.. what else can i ask for huh !
