2 more days..goodby February and welcome March...

ML finally coming back to s'pore.. 1 year in China and she keep saying cant wait to come back.. but i guess it's an eye opening to work and live in an environment other than ur home town n s'pore ? a very adventurous experience..

mm.. i guess for my current job.. there is no such posting..travel may still have chance.. anyway, im not looking for job/posting else where as im settling down..
If im still single, i think i will definitely tot of such opportunities..but this does not come earlier so forget it..

Yesterday, we went down to book ROM lunch at Masonic, western style with long table set-up.. quite cool..
JL said not everyday we get to lunch at Masonic( it's a club that only hold special function, one of it, is ROM lunch/dinner)..

so Masonic it will be..i like the place..wonder if they will setup with flowers n all.. magazines pic is very nice..

Then, we went down to Sengkang to hunt for our house..hot weather.. almost "chao ta", got to be aunty and use umbrella.. heee..
Hopefully the units we wanted still available..finger cross..

This is getting excited n fun.. the whole marriage thing..

This is also the time when i get to see the side of him that i dun usually see..
pat tor and go-out is different than getting together to prepare the details of the life that we r going to share soon...

he can be so detail in his preparation.. all the map.. all the layout.. units..directions...so proud of him...100% bonus for him on this..
this shows how important this is to him ? that he care a lot...

sometimes it makes me ponder.. man always say being woman is always better.. as man always take care of everything.. woman just there to say "yes" or "no"..how true is it ? i guess woman nowadays have more say ? not just yes or not.. but "like" or "dislike".. any diff ? ghaaaa

lallallaa happy happy.. weekend coming..weekend coming..dunno what have i been busy with.. but this week feel like so long.. maybe cos not busy that's why feel that ?

many shops stil with offer.. tot of buying some dress..cos when want to buy cant see any nice one or no offer.. when not preparing to buy will see many nice one on offer.. so i've learnt through experience.. to buy during offer for nice one.. smart huh..

i think more or less i know what im gonna buy for my ROM favour.. colourful bear bear then i shall put some personalise notes on it..not cheap each.. but i find it nice to let my guest (all relatives) to have something as keepsake for our day.. sweet.. ghaa.a. im always sweet.. heeee..

Been searching on camera with col.. i think more likely will go for canon again, reason being
(1) i can reuse my battary & SD memory card
(2) now offer only $649 with free 512 SD memory card + card reader + casing +
cleaning kit
(3) offer until 28th Feb

so.. shall see if tmw we have time to pop by..then im thking to repair my spoil camera some time later.. wait till i save enough money.. each month allocate $50 buck for it.. else one time pay all heartache... sobb...

i think i bought it in Y2003.. after i drop my sis digital camera in Bali.. n decided to get one of my own.. and now.. it just die. just like that.. so so so sadddd... my cols said not worth reparing it cos it will be 200 plus or more.. n service charge some more le..

guess i got to get a new one liao.. this time round.. maybe i'll get sany?? mm.. got to see from the upcoming IT show....now cannot take picture le.. not proper pictures.. cos the stupid canon cam sometimes can take sometimes cannot take..

tuesday is always better than monday.. for sure..morning attend a presentation..then vendor bought lunch at sakae sushi.. eat all red plates only.. ghaaa.. my boss principle.. whenever he treat we cant take red plates.. whenever vendor treat ONLY take red plates.. muahhhhhhhhhhh...

aiya.. overeat again.. JL warn me not to overeat but too late.. i already overeat.. pheww.. nvm.. do more exercise lah.. like this.. when will i be slim input=output.. no difference.. sobbb..

m'ca fren wee wen called.. wanna invite me to her wedding dinner on 25th March.. but but but.. my ROM is just a week away.. i thk i wont want to make a trip home. too tiring.. n mum will be going bangkok on 23rd n back on that weekend.. so no one at home. so i decided not to attend le..

i guess i should stay home aply mask..drink more water eat more fruits.. do more exercise to keep fit n healthy n beutiful ? ghaaaa..start to feel a bit nervous..jialat..will i have pre-marriage depression ? siao.. think too much lee

My camera is dying. dunno why at this moment then starts to give problem.. sob sob.. lao ya canon..

Morning suppose to go for compliance briefing.. mistaken the venue.. so go to raffles place.. then rush back to tampines.. luckily still able to make it..

Had lunch with vendor..then boss bought me 1kg b'day cake at Prima Deli..after lunch.. my cols (all guys) including my boss sang song for me.. ghaaa.. so funny to see guys(uncles some more) to sing b'day songs.. i cant help it but keep laughing..then boss gave me ang pow for my b'day.. sweet huh..

my crazy cols AGAIN.. ask me to choose 4 numbers to buy 4D.. fainted

BUT.. after that.. before i finished my b'day cake.. boss gave work..rush n rush .. change n change.. till nearly 7pm.. sob sob.. suppose to meet JL..

Took train down to town..and at city hall.. as usual very crowded..i was behind a lady waiting to get down the train when reach destination..accidentally step on her sandal.. immediately i said sorry..but opps.. her sandal strap broke.. ( am thinking.. i just step slightly.. not step and drag on it..what a lousy sandal..)

Surprisingly, she looked up and asked me "are you goin to compensate me ??"
i was stunned..huh ?? spontaneously i answered " u r the one blocking my way" and i walked off..feel angry at the way she asked me..

then while i was on the escalator.. she shouted from below (she cant move fast cos her sandal broke) "YOU IDIOT !! BROKE MY SANDAL AND NOT COMPENSATE !!"

Wah lao.. all she can think of is compensate.. really.. if her attitude is nicer.. i would have helped her to a shoes shop.. but of course she dun expect me to buy her a brand new shoes.. cos i dun thk a good condition shoes can be broken that easily.. im wearing sandals myself.. i know the difference btw a good/lousy sandal.. i guess her sandal is old n goin to give way.. n just happened that i stepped on it.. so it broke..bad timing..

i feel uneasy cos im trying to put myself in her shoes.. will i ask the person who accidentally step on me to compensate like the way she did ??

i dun thk so.. the most i blame her n just feel unlucky lor.. and i wont be shouting in public to someone as "idiot".. so low EQ.. i understand her frustration cos her shoes broke n im not helping her.. but could she be nicer? anyway.. somehow i feel she deserved it for being rude

anyway... i've been bubling abt this to JL whole night.. what a bad day i had on my b'day.. pheww...then boss sms.. abt work. said the slides not really completed in the way french boss wanted .. still have lots of changes.. well.. i stayed till 7pm.. what he expect ??.. he stayed till 9pm.. but hey.. it's my b'day today .. rememebred ??

JL complaint that i keep smsing with boss..work wat.. not i want !!

sigh.. b'day should never never fall on weekday..

shall sleep through the night and forget today..except for JL's hugs..

BangKok in March ?!?

arrgg.. so tempting.. sis goin bangkok for a week for course.. ask if i wanan tag along.. i almost said yes immediately.. but come to think again.. when she go course. i'll be left alone ??? soo boring...

mum have to take care of Chenn.. so cant leave..i guess not joining her again.. sigh... shopping spree got to be put on hold..

I'll be one year older in less than 24 hours..counting downnn...

mm...nowadays not really happy about b'day as getting older.. when younger.. looking forward to each birthday..that's life..

boss said i dun have to go back office in the morning..just join them for lunch in the afternoon as vendor is buying us lunch.. heee.. another free lunch.. luckily i have been working out these days.. so at least burning while inputting.. heee

VaLEntiNe'S dAy 2006

Finish course already !! today is 14th Feb suppose to leave early.. but ended up stay till almost 7pm .. lousy instructor...

Had very sumptuous lunch at secret recipes (lunch provided by organiser), with raspberry cheese cake for tea break...

I really really cannot afford to take in more food.. so.. this year's Valentine's was spent in food court with my seafood hor fun left 3/4 cant finish..what to do.. too full...

Before, i was telling JL not to buy roses as it is simply "stupid" to buy roses on Valentine's as the roses are so darn expensive..no point wasting the $$..he can always buy roses for me some other day..

But when see couples having bouquet of roses.. feel so envy.. keep nagging at him.. say.. "how nice.." "How romantic.." why he never buy for me...

i guess all woman like that ?? I myself so confusing..

Surprisingly... i guess he knows me very well.. he bought one stalk of rose kept secretly in his bag..cos he said he knew i sure want..heee.. sweett..

Proved that i din choose wrong man.. cos he knows me....



Our Food court valentine's day was spent happyly.. who says Valentine's day must surely spent a lot ?!?

easier to bring/use wat.. since he sweat a lot..this can keep him fresh all the

ghaaa.. but think back.. err.. really very un-romantic.. but what can ger buy for guy? usually valentine's is guy pamper ger ..that's my concept..heee..

yeah.. guess who guess who.. Wendy.. my insurance agent..first thing she told me when i met her this evening was that she is getting married..in April.. what a coincidence..of course i told her abt mine..

She said her bf (also an insurance agent) proposed to her when they were on their overseas trip ..last year August..she just got her house..resales 5 room flat.. which costs over 400k at Toa Payoh..she too complaining abt cannot get a new house..

She did not do her wedding the normal way.. as she said she wanna save money..she bought her wedding gown at lower price.. no wedding photos taking..no bridal packages.. only the photographing on that day.. she is a christian..and her parents in law were saying not good to wear the wedding gown before the actual day.. errr.. well... depends lah hor.. cos if never wear how to take pictures..

Happy for her.. as she too found her right man..she looks thinner than i remembered.. she said very busy with her work and the wedding preparation.. and she haven even book her wedding dinner banquet..

mm.. seems like JL and i are on track.. at least we have gotten those in list.. ar.. dun mention abt house...kek sim..

French boss on leave.. back to Paris.. so the whole office really is having cny extended holidays.. all so carefree..so in holiday mood..my boss wearing jeans n loose t-shirt..chirping away...we lunch for 2 hours..shopping some more..

what a life..today boss officially assign my role as SA backup..cool.. i will have chances to travel.. hopefully this year.. cos boss is pushing HA (my curent SI Fu or aka mentor) to go business trip cos already budgetted.. wonder if i can tag along as his backup.. ghaaaaa.. anyway.. if im good at it.. i'll have my turn to go..

so now.. HA will path out the roadmap for me..to train me up.. i foresee myself a very important person already... ghaaaaaaa...day dream..at least with this role.. my position is more secured..

next week go course.. shall not be doing hands-on until im familiarise with the config n environment.. cos every mistake means losing money.. and my boss's head on chopping board .. so i must be very careful .. my boss keep reminding me..pheww.. stress ar.. but still find this a challenge though.. cos this is the role im asking for the first week i join this company.. this is the one role i find it useful n value added in long run.. my boss couldn't agree more.. and what's more can i ask..

so.. Kanbate..work n life must always be well-balanced.. i hope i can....

Usually i go temple just to "bai bai" pray for good health, happiness, all goes well for myself n my family.. that's all..

Yesterday join JL and family to temple..we "nian jing" praying to buddha....see lion dance..eat vegetarian.. it feels different.. i'm kind of like it..feel so protected and blessed..safe..

who knows one day i'll be able to recite the "ta bei cou"..hee.. a bit long though n must recite very fast..even with the book in front of me i cant catch up..
