today managed to do the daily tasks as planned. compile this month training to boss n proposed my roles and responsibilities as i try to streamline the scopes btw my col n myself..minimize overlapping.. but he din reply my mail..

he has been in "WEIRD" mood lately n this happen ever since im back from my ROM leave..not much verbal communication nowadays, just emails..anyway, im too fed-up to care anymore.. so long im learning what i plan to learn..have lunch kaki.. have salary monthly..im satisfied.. luckily im not too demanding.. muahhh

today go n re-pick wedding gown again, cos i change my mind of the previously chosen gown..Jen went with us as she is on 2nd shift. ended up i chose two wedding gowns n remain my super pinky cheong-sam/t-dress look alike dress.. so i will have 3 gowns to swap on the wedding dinner.. now am thinking.. will i have the energy to change so many timesss?? so.. got to re-think of how i wanna arrange for the gown on that night..

monday holiday.. Yipeeeee.. looking forward to it.. Happy Labour day to all.. we need a good rest after 5 months of hard work.. +_+

WorK woRk..

mm.. this morning, the first thing i do is to tell my col to let me do the morning task.. heeee.. but guess what.. when i send the email out, he too send another similar one.. feel like throwing shoes to him.. what the heck !!! he really cant let go is it ????

so, my next step will be compiling all the lesson i've learnt and email boss to ask boss specify job scopess.. else it is tiring to everyday telling my col to "LET ME DO THE JOB" sickening..

From the system requirements, seems like sat 1/2 is a must to come back for data bckup, for Bi-Key updates, for manual restart of the gateway.. mm.. shall negotiate with boss so that this can be done alternately with this col..

i can see brighter path ahead !!! tmw i shall again remind him
"LET ME DO THE WORK !!!"

One MonTh oF TuTorinG

Started the mentoring in 4th or 5th April.. now coming to end of month... i have learnt quite a fair bit..but my col just refused to let go his work to let me take over.. sighh.. i guess all the older employee's mindset is to hold tightly to whatever they r good at..else it will be taken away by younger col..

Anyway, i will definitely fight for my "rights" to get what im assigned to do.. boss wanted me to backup him esp during his absence, he is going to Hk for a week for some project, thus, boss expect me to be competent to take over his task..

i would suggest he let me do the work and he monitor for my progress, if anything not right, he can point out.. isn't it better ??

so, i guess this is the only way to get my hands dirty on the work.. else i'll forever be watching him doing the work n not getting the chance to do it..

must pester him to let me do it.. sigh.. people is try not to do the work.. me ? i sk for it.. ghaaaa..

Ikea-Ing.. -_-

Been eying on the curtain on offer this weekdays..choose to go down after work on the first day of promotion ..excitedly.. planning to buy for our new home's balcony sliding glass door curtain (inner layer) as this is the lacing curtain and 3m in length



UNEXPECTEDLY, when we went down, we cant find the curtain that was suppose to be on promotion.. checked with the promoter.. and guess what.. "SOLD OUT" damn.. ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE OFFER AND IT IS SOLD OUT AND NO MORE FOR THE REST OF THE WEEKDAY?!??!?!?!? so disappointed.. all the picture image in my mind of how the curtain look like in my balcony door..all gone...just like that.. feel cheated..

Dun have mood to look for other curtains cos the oeefr price of $9 per 2 pc still linger in mind.. all other prices are was too expensive.. sob sob..

so, again, empty handed from Ikea..sigh.. but we spotted some study room design that we like.. took picture of it.. and of course being warn by the storekeeper.. ghaa.a. i took some with my phone.. lallalala.. n the dressing table design is simple.. just the way i like.. guess.. my new home will have many ikea design.. including those ratan chest.. those small vase.. those mirror.. those lights.. those racks.. those flower pots.. those tables... kiakiakiakiakia....

X-ComApny UpdAtes

Heard from one of my x-col (on-site engineer) that my x-company will be offshoring the solution centre to India (darn, indians r taking aways all our jobsss), so they r now waiting for company to offer them with other positions or look for other jobs elsewhere..

As for other c-cols who moved to agilent, r impacted with the offshoring, as they r on contract, thus, no more contract for the support, they too have to look for jobs elsewhere.. so far, i heard only one got job, the rest still looking i guess..

Irene was saying, Kenny n I are lucky cos our new job is not related to HP support anymore, thus no impact like my other x-cols.. phew... so after all i've made a wise choice to leave Unix team.. heeee..

Today i took nap (no my usual routine to sleep in the afternoon ) but after morning workout n go back to office, im tired maybe.. so i slept from 2 plus till 5 plus.. hoo.. cool..n i dun have any dicturbance from dreams.. total 3 hours of sleep. i hope i can still sleep tonight..

WeeKend..buSy Oooo..

Today have few appointments..with bank, with contractor n with bridal shop

First, Amro courier sent thec credit card documents to sign.. another credit card to apply.. nowadys credit card is too common, ah dog, ah cat also have..

Secondly, meet renovation contractor at new house, check for any defects..taken many pictures when we stepped into the house, JL even took video introducing each entrance of the house including me..
The contractor came n check, no defects, no cracks, he seemed surprise as some units at other blocks have lots of tile cracking. our toilet door is new, n the tiles all in good condition, kicthen tiles in good form too..so after discussing what we proposed to have on the renovation and we shall meet up after they came out with the 3D design.. also mean money paying time..

Third, look for mattress..but, not getting what we want, so we head to the last appointment of the day --> gown choosing.. we took 3 hours to get my wedding gown + dinner gown, and less than 30 minutes for JL's two suits.. heeee..

My gown is quite sexy as the stomach portion is transparent n bare back n it has super wide spread tails....n the dinner gown will be layering with lace n tube type.. i look sexy n elegance.. ghaaaa.....now left the photo taking in July..

Next week, we will be busy with the house renovation, on the design we want and also the furnitures..excited and enjoy the process of building up our home sweet home.. now i can go n o o .. sweet dreammmssss

I nEeD moRe CalCium....

I got to cut cut cut down on coffee consumption.. i drink too much coffee till i can still sleep n yawn n yawn n yawn after drinking coffee.. no effect anymore.. n i don't take enough milk/soya bean or any calcium related food..

so i've decided to cut down on coffee.. the most one cup per day.. morning i will drink milk.. just bought one packet of chocolate Anlene milk powder..n will tryyyyyy my best to eat more milk related food like cheese/yogurt/what else?? blank.. what other food with calcium...

Maybe if i stop coffee.. i will have whiter teeth.. blink blink.. remind me to see dentist..haven extract my wisdom teeth..so much things to do.. but im just too lazy to get it done..my study table is starting to pile up again...something inside me is telling me to tidy but physically i just cant seem to do it.. lazinessssssssss...

mm..enough of my ROM.. i purposely dun add new blog cos i want the first thing i see when come to my blog is my ROM pic.. heeee.. so niceee.. ghaaaaa.. thick skin really.. but i just cant help it.. see the photos so many times still like to see..i'll get over it soon.. i hope.. kekkekee

Saw sue's blog on her new hair style..so tempting.. i haven cut short hair for many years now.. been keeping my hair at least at/over shoulder length cos i like to tie my hair up.. make me look "younger".. ahem.. yeah age is catching up..so youth look is very important now..neeway.. i quit dying hair now..i've been dying hair for years and decided not to dye this year (new year resolution maybe) just dun feel like having too much colour on my hair, not easy to maintain as when hair starts to grow, need to re-dye again n again.. but when see others dying.. i felt tempted..grrrrr.... so indecisive.. but till now i haven dye.. so i guess i've get over hair dying too..

work has been .."weird".. cos boss seems to be angry with me on something which i dunno what.. ever since i came back from my ROM leave, he eacted this way.. somehow.. i suspected he angry cos i din tell him i ROM ? but i din tell/invite other cols too..plan to only invite them to my wedding dinner.. so now he dun lunch with me.. dun communicate verbally , use email instead.. n cols start asking me why.. and i was like .. " im puzzled too.. but what the heck.. im here to work.. not to see boss face to live my life.." so i'll get over this as well.. soon..

what else i'll get over ? oh yeah the jerk sister of mine.. anyway.. i'll get over it too.. cos i think if she intends to make my life difficult.. be with it..cos at the end.. it will be she herself who is "difficult" by thinking of how to make other's life difficult.. complicated as it seems.. but that's life..i have better things to think and do that be in her game to make me angry.. what the heck..

So my this month resolution is to get over things that i haven get over..

I find these meaningful..

PEOPLE COME INTO YOUR LIFE FOR A REASON:

Haven online from home for some time..cos lazy.. always see PC at work.. wanna let my eyes rest..

In the midst of reading another Dan Brown's book.. but again.. not really that exciting as da Vinci.. so been holding it for more than a week still cant finish.. Col finished Da Vinci and gotten the same conclusion as me.. actually it's a treasure hunt to no where.. so i guess i wont read more of his book unless good comment..

m.. what have i been doing for the past 2 weeks..Jenny called up and she n husband will be coming to S'pore as his husband will be posted to s'pore.. so i have one buddy here.. her baby will be coming over too..

been very keen on furnitures/electrical appliances/renovation for my new home..still in the process of gathering our minds on what style n design we want...

Been very fed-up with Jeff as he is throwing his misc work to me.. n we've been wondering.. what has he been doing since i have done most for him ?!?!?!?.. jerk !!!

Hopefully i will go for course in May as approved by bosses..lalla.. after that my training should be started..cos i really need to concentrate on swift..this is my Y2006 resolution to be actively involved in swift....
