Gardening ?

Missy nowadyas is very demanding on her needs. she wants water.. she wants food.. she wants to go out.. she wants to watch Tv.. she wants this and that and thi.. she will say it out some more.. so well.. we parents always the one giving in most of the time.. but of course i still ensure i'm the one in order instead of giving in to all her requests.

Besides bringing her down for a walk/run and mix with other kids, we also hang out at our small garden outside out home. We are getting more plants now.. but not really growing well yet.. cos mum said the sun is not enough here..




Our weekend "garden session" shall let her water plant in near future. just that i worried she will be hooked to watering plant and all our plants will again retarded.. drowining..

This week bakingg

This week, MIL brought one bunch of bananas and we have many fruits that we simply cant finsih it and it ripes so fast.so bling bling..

This week, we had all bananas cakes/bread..



I baked the walnut banana cake. which i have confirm that the recipe for one cake is so much better than if i were to bake a bigger ones like the one i baked to yumin's housewarming. One cake recipe (smaller) cake is just perfect ! mum loves it too.

Then i baked the banana bread. Yummy ! simply love bananas.

I made celery +carrot +black grapes salad too. love it !

I have few more recipes to make chicken pie and wholemeal cookies. shall try it out in near future.

Finger Paint - Arts

we did finger arts again last weekend. Missy finally let me put on the arts overall for her. this is to prevent her clothes from getting all the colours and wet.

She simply loves and enjoy the mess.. well.. i enjoy seeing her playing with the colours too. cleaning was a breeze. just wet tissues and all clean.



After our finger play and showing her arts product and pasted it on our balcony glass door, we continue with water play, Gave her the sponges and also her sand pit tools. she scoops the water from small pail to basin and vice versa. Good hand eye coordination.



CHildren simply loves paint and colour. Missy is no exception !

Before i got all the cutey mold and cutter and all.. shall get some ideas how to make simple bento.. i found this website. which even share pictures of how to prepare egg for bento.. really great !

Dinner @ Tony Romas

yum yum.. when u think of ribs ..you think of Tony Romas.. Yum yum..I used to have my ribs at SUntec branch. Tonight LGG and family decided to dine at Orchard Main branch instead.



Before, i never noticed the good customer service at TR. But tonight, i simply enjoy ther custoemr service at TR. My girl is given crayons to do some drawings while we adults are enjoying the ribs..

We only order pork ribs (full slabs) cos you go Tony Romas to eat ribs, what else right. GOOD ! Thumbs Up !

and what's more, we got 40% off from the bill. Cos we printed the voucher online. SUper duper worthwhile.

Bento #1

Well. im determine to make my bento from now on (bento aka bian tang or package food from home) but im gonna find time to go down to vivo daiso to get my gadget before i can start all the cutey cutey shapes bread etc..

simple bento on Monday. left over fried bee hoon with salad ( lettuce+shredded carrots+grapes with home made dressing). two , one for dear LGG and one for me. yum yum.

How i love home cooked food. Today lunch i have my home made salad too , pretty filling ( lettuce+shredded carrots +grapes +apple ) i try to add some nuts like walnut, but the walnut i bought tasted bitter after i baked it. wonder why so i never add it this round. shall experiment it few times.

Arts @ home

Bought the finger paint from popular on saturday. Let missy play with it. It's a new "toys" for her.. she is enjoying it. and lucky ting this finger paint is washable, really good. i can just use wet tissues and wipe all the stain away.

easily clean away and non toxic. missy never put into her mouth. which is something im worried abt when introducing colours to her. she will be out-grown this habit pretty soon.




I shall get easel for her soon, just cant find time to go down to ikea recently.

This week workout #3

Sunday went jogging around our neighbourhood for 1.5 rounds so i think is 2k plus with LGG. been having sore legs for 1 day. but so nice to sleep on sunday night. love that after-workout effect.

Today, the weather if favouring me. rain then by the time i go swimming during lunch time, it stopped. so partly cloudly i can swim without much tan.

I swim 20 laps in total with 18 laps nonstop , motivated by the other guy who swim beside me, he swim so many laps even before me and still swimming after i stop.

break my personal record.. sounds like pro !! i almost gave up, my legs feel tired after around 16 laps continously.. but that guy motivated me.. he swim like so easy.. i love this type of healthy competition.. haaa.. but i cant go on on the 20th laps.. got to rest.. even my goggles are misty liao..

good swim today. and i have my salad for lunch + detox..

tonight LGG buying us dinner.so looking forward to it. Muak

Missy Fallin Sick

Ges..we are worrying the too much exposure of sunlight and heaty food such as french fries will cause missy to be sick and so chun.

on the day we came back to spore, missy starting to have eye wax.. we already feeling something not right. heaty liao. make her drink more water since our PD trip we swim and eat outside food a lot.

she din get her daily apple juice and healthy porridge like at home.

this early morning around 230am. mum knocked at our room door. missy is having fever. she refuse her milk and crying. measure her temperature, it was 37.8deg cels. light one.

To be on the safe side, since she had UTI before, we rushed down to KKH E&C. checked her urine and all. Pheww.. everything was normal. normal fever due to viral infection.

we came back home around 530am. LGG took one day childcare leave. i have meeting today so have to go back to work.. now.. i'm a zombie..lucky thing today is ok, nothing special in the morning. so after one brand essence of chicken and one cup of coffee thick one.. im wide awake.. muahaha

hope my little missy gets well soon. she still can run around in KKH, but her parents all zombie like.. wonder who is sick.. *shake head*

PD trip

We just came back from another PD trip. Been there at least 5 times now. this time, we went to Tiara instead of the beaches itself. a different experience for the children, nothing so fantastic, just that it's in a safe environment and very child-proof. even my missy enjoy herself pretty much.

Some cousins time. The two boys really help us "adult" to entertain missy. we just sit there and watch them play.. missy is sososos excited and she just doze off to sleep in car most of the time..tt's how tired she is.



Another long weekends spent back home. will be in "reality" for the next two months. Finger cross my assignment goes well and smoothly.

This week Workout- #2

last week i did not go to gym the day after my swim. simply lazy.

Today i swim again and i stretch myself a bit more. 2 laps more than last week. and i can swim 6 laps nonstop. great achievement to myself ! Bravo !

Friday Yoga. Thursday may go gym with col.

Sunday jog with LGG at home area. 2km. so i've had enough workout. but i feel my tummy still flabby. sob. price to pay to be mummy.

This week work-out

Been raining on lunch time recently. today is bright and shiny. I go slightly beyond my normal routine today.

I swim 6 laps non-stop. then anothr 6 laps non-stop. total 12 laps today. Felt satisfied. Usually i will swim 2 laps and rest up to 10 laps. today i push myself a bit more. which i think i can go further. next week shall go for more laps with more non-stop.

Maybe tmw go gym for some cycling or treadmill. shall see how , if leg shaky then wont go.. hee.. cos friday yoga.

I like my workout routine now, cos it takes up my lunch time and i still can go home on time. Best of both world.

More Games..

Missy really tired with her existing toys/puzzles etc.. so i have to dig out new toys for her which i bought for her few months back fdrom toysrus.

She seems interested , at least for the moment.

It's NEVER easy to keep active toddler interest at one thing for long..

Plan to do some colouring with missy soon. will get her a easel. then get some large white mahkong paper for colouring and hand/foot printing.. stay tune.

Some updates : Missy finaly will be going for her April term in shichida. We got her Sunday class. Hopefully, she picks up something from the enrichment class. Start young so that she no need struggle like mad like myself or most friends during schooling days to remember thinsg or pick up new knowledge,. Shichida train photogenic memory. see then remember. really that good ? shall update after my missy attends their classes.

Lunch @ Cedele

Saturday (last day of February) we finally went to cedele for lunch , my later birthday meal.

I wanted to try cedele for so long. It's trans-fat free, organic and so healthy menu really attracted me. I like their bread and sandwiches.

Which on that day itself, i ordered sandwich and we had salad. im a sandwich/salad/spaghetti person.

yum yum ! but LGG said not filling for him, he had rosemary sauce chicken cutlet or something. I learnt this diet principle from someone in newspaper or somewhere.. "stop when you are not hungry and not when you are full" but easy to say than do, cos we usually over-eat,. as we eat till we are full :)

my little surely enjoy herself that day.. cutey cutey. she has her fair share too. salmon of course. she is salmon baby.. haa




Then, we went to borders since we are at wheelock place. just in time for theur story telling session by "Monster under the bed" really nothing so fantastic, just one lady sitting there to read the story with all expressions and loud voice. i can do it too. and missy apparently not interested, she prefer to roam about in the book store and like real, she just pick a book, lie on the floor and flip the book *faint* she looks cute in her baby gap dress, which very soon will out-grow it. so, i quickly let her wear before it's too late.. haaa

We then went to window shop at branded shops like LV & Gucci. * salivated * but i still think too much to spend on these.. just a handbag why spend so much ?? but deep down, i wish i have one too.. *vain woman*
