Rub a Dub Dub
Didi still loves his bathing time .. i like to take his picture once awhile to show how he fill up the tub.. haa.. now, he is longer than the tub.,. but mum find it easier to bath him using this tub than a deeper one.. so we continue to use this, while didi kick and kick and sometimes his leg will stay outside of the tub.. haaa how adorable..
it's getting harder to bath him now, as he has the strength to twist and turn.. like when we wash his hair he will turn his head down and make us wary the soup/water will go into his eyes/ears. so have to grab him tightly when rinse water.

Shopping Online
I have been buying missy's & didi's clothes from Spree (shared by mummies) from Gaps and Gymborees and recently Ralph Lauren.
i find buying via spree is faster, convenient, and cheaper as we all shared the shipping and now with the lower USdollar, we can shop hippily.
But my last Gymboree spree wasn't quite happy cos the mummy somehow said Vpost charged a higher weight for our total purchase, so i have to pay 30 bucks (SGD)just for delivery whereas for my gaps purchase i paid only about 10 bucks (SGD)..so, in total, for each item i bought for gymboree, is about SGd12.. mm.. not very cheap la.. but im quite happy with my purchase.. haa.. cos we cant get Gymboree from Sg, missy used to get her gymboree from San Francisco , which was hand me down from her cousin, which she never met and some bought by her grand aunt or grandparents when they visited there..
so, this timewas the first time i actually buy it myself.
I bough some nice shirt for missy and didi.. and a pair of jeans for didi.
besides clothing, i bought some accesories like hair pin, which are really cute, wuth animals on it like the one in the photos.. guraff and elephant.. i even bought socks.. which have fish prints..

and another accesory that i love, a gymboree spectacle for missy.. she looks cool in it.. i let her wear it during our swimming on saturday.

Didi starts his cereal
Didi tasted his first rice cereal
Didi has been drooling quite a bit recently; follow by his first tooth (lower central incisor) and second incisor. He has since shown great interest in our food. Just yesterday, he snaps his jiejie’s bread when his jiejie is happily eating her whole meal peanut butter as breakfast and she was stunned by her brother’s action.
Didi not only snap the bread from his jiejie, he even put it directly to his mouth.. we were so amused by his action .. Super hungry haaa..
So, mum and I thought, ok la... maybe it’s time we introduce him the rice cereal, which we home-made ourselves. We bought the organic brown rice, wash it, dry it up under hot sun, and grind it to power form. Then mum also bough “Shi Sen” washes, dry, grind into power form too. Shi Sen is to open up baby’s appetite. We did the same for Missy last time.
Yesterday, mum use one spoon of the rice cereal, add in my breastmilk and boil it. Let cool, then let didi try, we feel the grinding not so perfect as still can see small particles (not that smooth), but didi slowly slowly swallow... And eat it all up (even though only one spoon of cereal)

Wow, not bad for his first time, he even make noise after I move the bowl away, as if he wants more.. So we give him some plain water, which is his second time tasting water, cos he is on total breast milk since birth. The first time I gave him plain water was just to let him try the different taste of drink besides milk.
So, we shall let him try the rice cereal from now on, with just a spoonful in amount.
Cute cute boy.. Jiejie is so curious with us feeding him the rice cereal, she keeps saying didi no teeth cannot eat. But I reminded her, didi already has one tooth

Missy's toys r us
When was the last time I bought toys/games for missy?? I think the last toy I bought for her was the ELC medical case, bought during my maternity leave, May or June. I try to buy something for missy every now and then, two reasons; I think it’s good to have some fun creative toys at home, because I believe through play children will learn and through creative toys, children will use their mind to explore the toys including pretend play.
Another reason being that by buying toys, I feel I have the purchasing power, which is one reason I will never stop being a working mother, I want to be able to spend spend spend.. My hobby... muahahah..
And now, toys I buy can be used for both Missy and didi.. so worth the money and effort on toys selection hee..
What did I get for missy this month ? It’s.. tada..

didi 2nd tooth
didi second tooth is very obvious now..tt's fast.. before 6 month old already have 2 teeth and my main concern now is that.. should i start to wen him of breastfeeding ?? cos he bite me in two occasion when i bfed him.
once during the night, when he finished one breast and i try to get him to drink from next breast but he seems to prefer sleeping than drinking, so i kinda force him to open mouth to drink, and ended up, he gave me a hard bite.. sobbb
second time, during day, weekend, when i feel maybe he should drink and then make him take his nap, and he refuse and gave me another bite.. sob again..
sigh.. hopefully, he wont bite me anymore.. sobb

Breakfast from Home
Last week, i made breakfast for misys to bring to her school. Cos i feel their school breakfast always been repeating the same thing, quite boring, if not toast, then corn flakes, or oatmeal..
so, i made some animal shaped cheese bread for her and grapes. she loves it. Then, i made some peanut butter bread , with blueberry and her alphabet biscuits. she loved it too. The next day i steam some bun , and add some blueberry for her, she loves it too. But teacher told LGG to try not to bring breakfast from home, as this will then make others (who do not bring from home) feel bad, cos they dun have the nice breakfast box and all.. and they may want it too.
well... i then stop making for her.. we let her eat before she goes to school. i guess i will let her bring some fruits instead. cos even the teacher said so, i still see some students bringing their own food in.

Missy school activity, making non-bake peanut butter cookies. she loves it to bit but i help her to eat most of it, cos i find it too heaty.

Didi taken rotavirus #2 -completed
Today , on leave to bring didi to take his last dose(2nd) of rotavirus. he again, swallow the oral vaccination like sweet at one go. Doctor said, very good appetite !.. haaa..
so, at least, now, i have one thing lesser to worry abt, no worries on diarhoea/vomiting caused by rotarix.
Mum wasn't feeling well since last night, having slight pain when urinate, and after tested, confirmed she has UTI. Oh, mine. how come ? doc said one reason being that after menopause, if never drink enough water, likely woman can get UTI.
so, mum is now on antibiotic for a week. poor thing.
