heee.. the above is my favourite ice-cream from swenson.. haven been eating it since our courtship days.. weekend during our weekly marketing at giant, we bought the ice-cream again.. ohh.. feeel sooo happy !.. i always believe chocolate will make me feel happy.. tt's explain why i like chocolate but i cant eat much as i cant stand the sweetness.. i believed im not much of a sweet tooth person ..which is good i guess..

nothing much, just wanna jot down this moment when lGG & i are eating our favourite ice-cream.. ohh.. PIL are looking after missy while we did our marketing & eating our ice-cream.. heee

Weekend activities

This weekedn, we went to her yi-po's house again to eat durians/rambutans/mangosteen.. she get to see her daddy plucking rambutans.. she get to see 3 different colours cats.. she did not cry when see her yi-po or auntie vickie..we left her abt 1 hour with yi-po she never cry.. Good improvement !

i let her play with her flash card. i flash from "A" to "Z" and she sits quitely till i finish, then she just grab the cards , so i lay in front of her, let her see the pictures and play with it..she pick the card see look, then fold.. *eye rolling*

Then, like usual, after her morning feed, she will go checking in each corner of the house and rooms, like inspector.. to check for any hair on the floor.. any dirt.raom around.. a good form of exercise i guess to let her practise her motor skill.. she is able to stand on her own without holding on anything for few minutes.. and i noticed she is encouraged if we clap and cheer for her.. so, little ones too need to be motivated ..*mm*

this week's new discovery for bb is that, she started to feel curious with "water" when i use the pail to pour water from top to her bath tub.. she will grab the water.. and laugh loudly.. she will look at me and grab the water again & again.. very very cute.. it's good that she show curiousity & interest..so her bathing new game.. catch water that flows... *heee*

and sat, i let her wear her green dress.. she looks good in green too.. last week's yellow is very pretty too.. maybe cos she is fair, so these light colours go well with her.. *my pretty baby*

My this coming week's mission.. i learnt from SAHM, we should have a theme weekly on things to teach our child.. so i shall teach her letter "A" for the whole of this week. se how it progress.. heee.. mum said too early.. but i guess no harm introducing it early la..it's just trying to do something more structured with her instead of play aimlessly all the time..

Gees...i still have many things i need to complete before she is 1 year-old. hope i can make it in time ! * busy working mum*

Durian party

hoo. i haven eaten durians for 3 years already.. this year, i MUST eat ! with that determination, i planned to go back home , but stupid bus ticket left only the front seat which is not ideal if we decided to bring bb along..

so, we decided to go Geylang (Lor 25, near aljunied MRT) to get our durians.. wah.. $2 each..we tot, ok, just buy and try.. never knew.. the quality is superb !! my MIL is good, those she chose all very good ! they have bitter & sweet, 2 types.. all very very good. really value for money..



i've eaten so many.. now feel like goin to get sore throat.. hee..but no regrets man ! durian, you r the king.. no doubts abt that..

ohh.. we actually let bb tried a bit, but, she maybe not like us yet, cos she is like tasted very smelly thing expression, like wanted to vomit ! heee.. nvm,. it takes time to fall in love with durians..


On the same day, we went to parkway parade Giant, bought some magosteen, the queen of fruits.. and also we pluck the remaining rambutans from ah yee's house.. so we actually loaded with durians.. rambutans & magonsteen.. hoooo..



bb get chance to play with these fruits.. i gave her mangosteen & rambutans.. she chose mangosteen... clever huh ! cos past weeks she played with rambutans already so she wanted something new..

I bought honet pineapple last week, and let her play with it, she really loves it.. the skin of the pineapple tickle her little hands.. she is trying to pull the whole pineapple up.. so cute.. and so happy..if u've noticed


her pyjamas is kinda weird, cos we put on another singlet n to of her pyjamas.. cos her latest hobby is to bite button, we worried she swallow the whole button.. tt's why must over-layer with another button-less shirt.. * shake head *

Artist to be ?!?

As a FTWM, unless im super hardworking that i will have time to do a lot of reading/srufing to find our what activities to do with my little missy. But, at least i take the effort to search online. as usual, i frequented SAHM's website for some ideas.. heee..

BB already not interested with her tunnel game, she can go in and out of the tunnel without much fear or effort now.. piece of cake haaa.. so we decided to try some new activity.. nothing structured.. just for fun..i always let her explore on her own at home, she now knows where her toys are.. and where her books are.. she is very good in crawling now. she even play chasing game with us .. haa.. very very cute and fun stage now



she already started cruisng abt with the assistance of furniture, she can stand up while holding on sofa or chair or our hands.. today we found out she can stand on her own while taking her very fisry few steps.. which we are kinda shocked as she is not even 10th month old. so we reminded ourselves to be watchful over her as she just stand and let go of her hand and try to walk.. scary !!

yesterday, i gave her some crayons and drawing block.. well. i din expect her to know how to hold crayons like holding pen and start drawing, i just wanan introduce new thinsg to her and let her feel how it is like to hold something while scribble on something.. heee



I guide her hand with the crayon.. she is enjoying for awhile but started to resist my assistance and wanted to play on her own, after some time of observation on the crayon (her usual warm-up), she started to send the crayons to her mouth, i have to quickly pull it away from her face.. haaa.. and i show her how i can use crayons to make some colourful lines on the crawing blocks..

it's ok she does not appreciate this activity, we shall do it again next week.. just like we did with the tunnel, she finally learned the concept behind why mummy put a long box for her.. "cos mummy wants her to crawl from one end to the other, on her own without fear".. heee..

Taken her photo yesterday when she is in this yellow dress.. kinda of sexy actually, i thought maybe wear a blouse inside so that she wont catch cold.not bad actually. cutey cutey.

Bintan 12th-13th July *10th Years of Friendships*

Thursday afternoon, while i was still in course, mum called, bb is having fever..well after the first UTI episode, we are very sensitive to "Fever".. i left the class early, rush home, check bb's fever, 38 plus, so immediately, FIL came over to pick us up and off we go to KKH..check her condition, her urine..

We were relief to know that it's just normal flu with running nose and coughing.. phew.. her urine test came back negative and normal. she is completely clear from UTI now.

so, one more day before i'm off to Bintan. she is having her First ever flu since birth. her immunity is not bad actually. with 1 month of breastfeeding, she is considered strong girl, as my friend's boy always having flu comparing to bb. mum & MIL ensure me that they will look after bb with LGG's help, so, i decided to proceed. haaa.. good timing to get flu huh !

To prepare, i baked a loaf of wholemeal bread on Friday night. boy.it baked till almost midnight as i started late, only started doing the dough after work. as dough method bread is nicer.

Saturday morning, woke up around 530am. steam the ham, ask maid to fry the japanese crispy nuggets and rinse the lettuce +tomatoes. after bathing, i started to made the sandwiches. it looks good huh in the photo. they like it too. heee..

so, we meet at tanah merah to board the ferry. as usual, when the 4 of us met, we just cant stop talking.. blahahha.. until into the ferry. and we really dun feel the journey is 1 hour, as we never stop talking ..



After we reached Bintan, we went to do massage, that's where i got my stiff neck and ML got sick after her Thai massage session.. we had our lunch at the restaurant there at Oleh oleh market".. we bought some beers for tonight's celebration too..mm..after we went back to hotel..ML ended up sleeping in the hotel room for the rest of the day. so, Left 3 of us. We decided to go swimming, took some photos, but Jia haven send to me.. we went down to the beach as well.. actually, i dun find Bintan that special.. just like any other normal beaches..nothing much special le..

We had our Korean dinner with ML eating her porridge in room. after dinner and some walking, we went back to our "free upgraded" room as we requested to have 2 rooms side by side and they run out of room, so gave us this bigger room with sea view. We watched some TV and Jia being the "pig" suggesting to sleep awhile.. so, i too ended up sleeping.. and wonder why around 12 midnight, we just woke up and thought of the beers.. so three of us just finished one can each.. haaa.. we felt funny too cos after the beer, we just continue to sleep..

Next morning, ML is feeling better, so we continue to finish up all the beers haaa.. we are crazy !! we had our heavy lunch at the hotel.. and just wait to go back..

well, i think this trip is good for us as we seldom get time to gather like last time, especially me. Opps.. so, this gathering kinda catch up a little more on each other's life..

Our 10th years of friendships! Jia is going to amke a movie with all the clips they film..muahhaha...

Mum-On-Stock

During our bintan trip, Suh shared some of her experiences in share market. Jia and i both wanted to try out. Thus, we plan to get started by opening an account and get advise from remisier.

So, we hoep to get started somewhere.. and as i told suh, hopefully we will have "happy" experience in our share market trading.. muahahha..

How nice.. if i can just do trading online and no need to work.. muahhaa.. and earn lots of money to maintain my lifestyle... it's always good to have dream.. dare to dream then u'll have motivation to act on it !

But, before that, i better equipped myself with more information on those stocks/share .. trading jargons.. it all seems so alien to me.. boo.. no wonder i cant do accounts/finance.. i just cant seem to be interested in all these terms..

Running to Stay Y@ung

hoo.. seems like i din choose the wrong sport..i've been running for coming to 4 years now.. mostly in treadmill..i find running suits me as i don't perspire easily..running is the only sport that make me sweat.. i love the feeling of sweat it all out !

recently, i seldom hit the gym for running.. simply lazy.. cant move my butt..sigh..

my boss is a runner.. he runs 10km each time.. so effortless.. i think i don;t have to run so much.. so long i still run and sweat.. it's enough.. must listen to our body when exercise.. dun over-do..

talking abt over-do.. i did balinese massage in Bintan (havent got time to blog abt it yet)and the ending part, the lady did the left n right body pulling... caused me to have stiff neck .. yesterday i felt weird again.. after bathing, all the sudden, my muscle liek cram up.. my neck totall cannot turn and i cant lift up my head if i lie down.. WHAT THE HECK !!!

so, must be careful when do massage, if not done properly will get injury.. later must go n see doctor get some muscle relaxant or something.. geees.. LGG keep saying.. spend money to get injured .. sob..anyway, the massage was cheap.. only SGD28 for 1 hour.. where to find.. muahaha

CourSe

today till friday i'm attending project planning & management course.. wulala.. same course attended by LGG few months back. and some more got exam at the end of the course.. siannn..

but, i find nowadays courses are getting interesting as they get us to play games..same like ITIL course. we shall see if my team's project planning can be realised tmw.. muahaha..

Happy attending course.. ohh.. my course is better than LGG's cos company provided lunch with budget SGD50 per person.. heee.. today we lunch at DOME. tmw not sure where. we get to choose our lunch from menu. so cool !

Tonight got to start packing.. 2 more days left..

M@nday Bluess

I almost wanted to take Mc today.. soso sleepy.. hard to get up even the alarm already ring..tired !

that's the problem with busy weekends.. we are so tired even after two days of so-called "rest day". i still have many things piling on my study table that i wanted so much to clear but haven't got around to do it.. i still need to choose and edit some photos for printing by this wednesday, i still need to remind LGG to issue cheque for my yoga class by this week, i still need to think and pack my things for this weekend getaway trip.. already many things to think/do..sob.. i need more time ! my time management skill not there yet !

today is youth day or something that no students are taking bus, and the bus is taking forever to arrive, each time pack to the door.. i missed few buses, ended up late to office by 15 minutes ! feel so sian cos i dun like to be late to work !

Today no sandwiches as we already run out of bread and i simply forgotten about it. so, breakfast i just drink one cup of coffee, getting headache. geesss.. what a Monday ! i simply hate Monday ! how i wish we can just skip Monday !


oh yeah, i still need to think of how to celebrate my missy's 1st birthday ! so fast..it's coming soon !

good thing this weekend im going for a break ! hopefully, not tired when come back, should be refreshed ! muahahha.. looking forward to it !

Sunday @ Ah Yee's home

Today we went to Ah Yee's home at katong to celebrate her retirement ! our weekend really pack this week. hardly have time to rest.She invited us on Sat evening when we are in PIL's home.

So, today after late lunch, we went down to Buangkok to get a cake for her, buangkok really happening today lots of events going on, but we do not have time for these, bb seem so interested with the ballon blowing up high...haaa..

we then went down to Ah yee's home, while waiting for them to prepare dinner, MIL ask LGG to pluck those ripe rambutans.. ah yee's place has many fruit trees, like papaya, ciku, rambutans, soursop starfruits... it's quite fun as we seldom see all these in town anymore.. bb so excited to see rambutans as it is hairy.. she will scream so loud when we touch her hand with rambutans.. haaa.. cutey cutey..

after the celebration, we went right home as bb is very sleepy already. another sunday well spent !

Weekend's activity

So, this saturday, apart from the gathering & her grandpa's bday.. we still do our weekend activity..

this week, i let her explore her first small book shelf, which we installed last week, put in those story books (well-preserved by her grandpa, all her daddy's n uncle's story books, more than 20 years back) whole series of lady bird's children story books. she now can stand by holding on things, cruising about.. and can take out books from shelf.. good job !

i tehn gave her the big shape picture to her to play with, she seems interested , well for that very first 5 minutes, after tat, she don't even want to look at it ! *sob sob*

Then, i want to show her how to put things into a container and take it out, this is the first time, i use a deeper basket to play with her, she manage to take the dice out but not putting it back.. so we shall practise on this in weeks to come.

Vivo city

Finally we went vivo after so many weeks of talking abt it.. t's rather far for us, but take train is from one end to another without changing.. quite convenient actually.

today after the morning gathering, we went to vivo to celeb FIL's b'day. we planne to go orchard initially, but changed our mind when we r in the train. lots of things to shop actually, very big and all.. this is bb's first trip to vivo.. she gets to see many many things, people as well of course.

today bb is very busy.. morning socialising with mummy's frens..afternoon walk walk in vivo.. busy baby..

after the vivo kai-kai.. we went back to PIL's hoem for dinner as our normal sat's..FIl oon his record player, those big big round round black record.. not bad at all.. bb even dance to the music.. haaa.. oh.. her recent new moves.. she starts to move forward and backwards to music or thinsgs he like.. like swaying .. cute..

Gathering- another year

Well..the gathering almost cancelled due to new driver Bk almst drove to JB instead of Sengkang.. muahahhaa.. but, we finally met again.. last year we met around the same month too, i was still heavily pregnant at that time.. how time fliess..my bb already 9 month plus now..and Bk's boy is 3.5 year-old already a very quiet boy who just play on his own..really amzing.. my bb keep approaching and touch him.. but he just continue to play bb's toys on his own.. mmm...

BB became their model.. once they stepped in, three cameras keep shooting.. as you can see in the photo..bb blu blu wondering what are these people doing..cutey.. she is rather friendly, as she never cry when these "jie jie ' cum one 'auntie" carry her.. seems like she can socialise well..by nature i guess.. like her mummy.. haaa


i prepared some sandwiches for these gals. with home-baked bread of course..chat/gossips for over 2 hour plus then they have to make a move and LGG & i are meeting PIL too..so we ended with hugs and goodbyes till our next year gathering.. haa.a. so weshall see who is getting married (Gis or Iris) and who is getting pregnant again(Bk or e) haaaa

Busy weekend for me , as i planned to baked cream cheese choco cake.. but really cant squueze time for this.. after our x-col gathering, we went down to vivo to celeb FIL's 65's birthday..another entry..

Crying baby ?!?

she is always a cheerful baby.. she does not smile to anyone.. not as generous but she dun cry as much.. i think it's bcos she has a happy family who never stop showring her with loves.. haaaa..*thick skin*

but, she will trhow temper if we dun grab the things the is enjoying playing..either a camera cover/book/hair pin anything she already put in mouth, she usually refuse to let go easily.. so i tot maybe i should tease her and take her crying picture.. she din actually cry just making noise.. haaa..

i then showed her her photos in the camera, she cant help but laugh and squeek so loud.. maybe she feel her crying photo is not as pretty as her smiling photo.. muahhaha who says baby does not know anything ? they are so inteligent !!

Weekend with Missy

Jenny finally gave birth to a healthy and ahem.. heavy weight girl-girl on friday morning, 3.9kg.. she herself cannot believe she actually can give birth to such a big baby, natural birth some more..poo.. aren't we woman a just amazing ? and we can still survive after that..

visited her at gleneagles but din get to see her little darling as she just done with feeding and was send back to nursing room..sob..so next time i guess..when she is slightly bigger.

anyway, besides from visiting Jenny.. we went to do bb's 9th month development assessment.. she is not 90 percentile of weight baby her age, 75 percentile of height baby her age .. woahh.. overweight liao missy missy.. but it's ok to be chubby when still baby..cuter..

then, i've been trying to follow some SAHM's advise to let missy explore freely at home. let her crawl/touch/open/close as she likes but with close supervision, this is montessori approach..

so, sat morning, i gave her one big apple & 1 big orange to play with, she is familiar with these 2 fruits as we often give her apples and sometiems orange, she sees them in the poster i pasted in her playground.. well, expected, she looks interested for awhile, taste it, then throw it.. sob..



Then, i let her explore in the kitchen.. she is so excited as we seldom let her crawl in there for safety reason.. but, as i was doing her porridge, she actually, peel the garlic skin and stuff into her mouth.. i think the skin is a bit paper like.. and the taste,.. she vomited.. OMG ! bad playground..

anyway, i guess, she should have a eventful weekends with her mummy.. haaa

My Cocoa Loaf -Success

Muahhaha.. so far i've tried the healthy (no bread version) wholemeal, milk loaf and today i've tried cocoa bread !! yipeee.. yumyum.. i followed mamabliss's recipe , add in egg & bread improver , it turned out fluffy, shall see if tomorrow it is still fluffy and soft. i kept in fridge this afternoon.

I guess maybe next weekedn i shall breda one more loaf for BK's son since children usually loves chocolate flavour ? shall see if i can make it in time.. cos weekends i have to handle missy alone.. a bit messy sometimes, this morning already having hard time getting her sit quietly in her sitter in kitchen with me while i add in the bread ingredients to my breadmakers.. *shakehead*

Happy happy.. one more loaf in bread recipess collection !

Lunch with hubby

heee..today LGG is around the vicinity.. so we lunch together. I brought him to eat the "ayam penyet" near my work place which i think is good. glad that he enjoy too eventhough the spiciness is really BAGUS!! muahhaa.. sweating all over !

we then, have a cup of tea/coffee at hanns.. just like the old days.. heee.. sometimes miss our courtship days.. but now is not bad too.. we have our lovely girl in our life.. The BEST thing ever happen in my life beside my LGG..

what else can i ask for ?!?

Sunday activity

One of the activities in my list is this tunnel game..it's simple and good training for her crawling development.. a variation..

i just dig out one of the big boxes from store room and fold up the flaps inward.. she does not seem to be interested in the beginning.. but i keep luring her with her toys and calling her at the other end.. so, finaly, she made her very first tunnel-through... ha.. but many of times, she just stop half way and sit inside biting her toys.. occassionally, she will shake the bos.. and i guess she feel a bit insecure with the box shaking so much when she use strength..

It seems like a simple game to have fun !.. we shall keep the box for more exicitng crawling .. like hanging some toys at the other end of the box..
